We know what you're thinking.  Monika and I will finally be guests on the Oprah show for our fabulous crochet designs!!!!  Actually, we'll be audience members, but we're just as excited.

This Wednesday, we'll be members of the "not so studio" audience that gets to welcome home 150 summer olympic stars to Millenium Park for the 23rd season Premiere of the Oprah Winfrey Show!!! Woooo hooooooo!!!!!

How did we land this honor, while thousands of Chicagoan's are currently trying to get tickets to this celebratory show?  Well, about 9 months ago, we attended a Carol's Daughter event at Macy's on State Street, hosted by Oprahs' make up artist, Reggie Wells. 

During the event, Reggie picked a few fabulous ladies that he felt was "working it" and gave them tickets to the show.  Monika was one of the fabulous ladies (6 months pregnant, I might add) and the rest is history!!!!

We'll keep you posted as to when the show airs. Just be sure to look for the brightly colored twins wearing Double Stitch!!!

congratulations on being chosen to go. I am actually going to the Oprah show on the 19th. My job's fundraiser at the Four Seasons auctioned off a pair of tickets and some very generous lady bought them for me and one of my co-workers. I'll let you know when my show airs.

Congratulations, make sure you ask to check out the marble level 2 at Harpo if possible, when I get to where she is , that would be the type of marble room I want.
