We're very happy to tell you that we will be playing at the North Coast Folk Festival in Portstewart this Saturday night. We're very honoured to be the headline act. And its on Hallowe'en night so we're definitely gonna get dressed up!

The line up on the night will be ourselves plus Rohan Armstrong on Double Bass and Ramon Ferguson on Guitar. As well as our old standards, we will be singing songs from the our new album "Dawn", which will be available to buy on the night.

As well as the performance on the night, we are giving workshops during the day. There will be 4 seperate workshops: One by Joleen on the harp, Ramon on guitar, Karen will give a fiddle workshop and Lorna will give a song workshop. These will take place from 1.30-2.30 at the Flowerfield Arts Centre.

As part of the build up to the festival, The Henry Girls will make 2 Radio appearances this week. On Wednesday we will be on the Alan Simpson Show on BBC Ulster and singing live in the Studio. And on Thursday we will be on with Mark Patterson on Radio Foyle, also singing live in the Studio

The festival includes many other great acts such as Balkan Alien Sound, Here Comes the Landed Gentry, Reelfolk and Cat Malojian.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the festival organisers for asking us to be part of this years festival (expecially Vicky Stevenson) and to wish them and all the acts the best of luck for a great festival!

Please visit the festival website for more details:

And they also have a myspace:

Much Love,
Henrys xx
