We just wanted to let everyone know that Alethea's father Tom Eichhorn succumbed to his battle with lung cancer on October 6th 2009. He is very missed and very loved. Tom is survived by his beautiful wife Carole and his daughter Alethea and Son Armand. He was like a father to David and one of the biggest supporters of Beehive. He cheered his daughter and David on at every show and was there to celebrate every accomplishment.  

The loss we feel cannot be described in words-we are greiving but we are comforted by the knowledge that we feel him with us and that he is free of the pain that was created by this horrible disease.

Throughout his battle with lung cancer, Tom was a warrior.. he had grace and dignity throughout the entire ordeal. He never complained and was kind and loving to everyone and was an inspiration to everyone.

In the days before he passed he made Alethea promise that she and David would play at CMJ this year, because he knew that performing at this conference was one of Beehive's goals- so because of this Beehive will make the journey to New York with heavy hearts, but with the mission to dedicate this performance to Tom Eichhorn and to celebrate his life..

I will miss you Daddy thank you for being such a beautiful father -- you will always be in my heart!

I will miss you Tom, you are like a father to me and I always loved our talks and cherish the time we spent together..

Love you Dad!  You are an immortal rockstar and warrior-- thank you for your love and for you!
