I came across the coolest site for music called TheSixtyOne. Its a great way to discover new music because it puts the power of the popularity contest BACK into the hands of the music listeners, rather then big-business major labels telling us what we want to hear. Users like you and me earn a reputation and build influence based on the stuff you listen to, like, and recommend. From that, genre based charts are born.
Its friggin slick.
I started an artist profile and will be uploading a new tune every few days. The T61 hotshots suggest waiting a few days between music uploads to give each song ample time to be ♥‘d and recommended.
