I've realized I don't know enough about the history of eastern conflicts (southern education) to understand what is currently going on, so I'm giving myself a crash course in Israeli history as a start.

The information I pick up in the news, conversation, various published articles and rants is that the Israeli military is massacring the Lebanese.

Without getting into further detail at the moment, as I'd probably just be saying something that anyone who is interested has already heard, I am requesting that people leave comments with opinions and information. I want to get as close to a rationalization as possible.
