............NOT JUST A RAP GROUP
We are always getting approached by fans who ask us the same
question; where did you get your nicknames and what do they mean? So… we
thought we would take a moment and break it down for you guys.
As you may know Chris’ nickname is Chris Styles. Back in the day when we was still in school the ladies would always say, “Chris you got styles”, and after a while he became known for his “style”. Back then
having “style” was just as hip as saying you got “swagger” today. Chris is
also the one who is most likely going to get the nitty-gritty work done.
When something needs to get done, he’s always up for just doing it.
Rah is just short for Robert, His family has always called him “Rah- Rah,” cuz he's an outgoing, verbose kind of guy, and so he ran with it. We call Travis, Pro, which is short for “prolific," which means creative...since he's got those creative juices going.
These nicknames have been with us forever. We didn’t just create
them cause we were starting a group. We aren’t just a rap group; we are thick
as family. Rah and Pro are brothers. Chris got in the mix over seven years ago when he met Rah in college through a friend.
Working with family has its ups and downs though. We argue like
family and solve problems the same way. We can be yelling at one another
one second and laughing about something else the next. But, working
together is always fun cause we see each other grow. That’s always
excited, because no matter how much your friends are around, no one will
want to see you succeed more than your family.
Our debut album is about to drop in September, which we are real
excited about. So, don’t forget to be in the look out for that. We
hope you all like what we did, cause we definitely see ourselves being a super group in the next five years. We just never wanna have to stop
performing.
As long as you wanna hear us we will perform for a real long time, so we can give the people what they want.
