A Word From Rah
It’s weird how things work out in life. From young ages we have all been performing and doing music. We weren’t asking for the lime light, but we worked hard, and we got to it.
For us music runs in the blood. It’s just what we are drawn to do. My grandfather made the biggest impact on my musical talent; some would say he blessed my genes.
My grandfather Robert Parker made a jazz smash hit in ....New Orleans.... in 1963. My brother and I were born and raised in ....New Orleans.... and we are known for being related to my grandfather.
This week the Associated Press chose to do a video blog at my
grandmother’s house to discuss my ....New
Orleans.... roots. I was raised by my grandmother Gloria Parker, whom I have a wonderful relationship with today. She
took me out of a lot of positions that I shouldn’t have been in as a
child. For that I will always be thankful for her.
They are looking to do an interview with my grandfather in a couple of weeks. So be in the look out for that.
This past week has been a big riot. We performed in ....Lafayette..,
..Louisiana.... for the Summer Festival
along side Lil Boosie. We didn’t get to watch any performances, although we
wish we did. The fans in ....Lafayette....
showed a lot of love and if invited back we’d love to perform again.
I got to get back to work, but before I go I want to make a shout
out to our ....Lafayette....
fans. Thanks for showing some crazy mad love to 4Thirty. Also thanks for
all your support Dj TroyD at 106.3 the Juice. And Chris wants to make one
little shout out himself, “Shout out to 308 and all the 308 models… especially
you!”....
