Motorcyclist Ryan Capes claims he has set a new world record for a
ramp-to-ramp jump - soaring 286ft (87.17m) in the air. That would beat
the previous record by 34ft.
But he had set himself a personal
goal of 300ft, so he had another try, and this time he was said to have
jumped an astonishing 316ft (96.31m), at the Grand Sierra resort in
Reno, Nevada.
