Hello friends and strangers,
I'm getting ready for the release of a new record, a "solo" record I've recorded under the name Rain Machine. I put the word solo in quotes in that last sentence because although I wrote the music and played the instruments It hardly seems honest to imply that I did it alone. I had technical, physical and spiritual help from a variety of people and sources. Ian Brennan, the records producer. Heidi Ferrell, and Carolyn Penny Packer Riggs contributed their time and voices. I could go on...check the albums credits, the physical fact of a record coming into existence is rarely if ever the results of the work of one person. I feel honored and privileged to be able to see this come to fruition. I'm excited to share these recordings with you and hope you find them worthy of your time and the mental real estate that music has the power to occupy.
