So, the four of us have been kickin' it in Paris' 1st district for about a week now, since we were denied access into the UK. It's been pretty cool, if you ask me.
Two days ago, we all went to Disneyland Paris and had the happiest time in the second happiest place on earth (first happiest is Disneyland LA) and then we hung out with the two American gals that we met the night before at this club/ venue called the Pop-In. We kicked it on a bridge over some pretty green french water, and sang rape me and watched & heard the thunder and lightning, and it was exciting. Then we got rained on and I used my guitar case as an umbrella while we ran back to the apartment we're staying at.

**holy crap some french lady just rang the bell and i answered in my underwear and she gobbled at me in french for like 5 minutes and i was like: 'im sorry i don't speak jive lady' and she was like 'gobble-gobble-gobble' and i was like: 'no he's in japan, im sorry' and she was like 'oh putain' which is french for 'oh fuck'. **

We went and checked out the Louvre yesterday, and it was mind blowing. I saw the Mona Lisa and hundreds of other amazing paintings and sculptures and artifacts from thousands of years ago. It was way too cool.

Being in Europe definitely makes me appreciate America, and being from California. I miss the shit out of that place.

And also playing shows. It's okay though - next friday we got a big ol gig, and I'm pretty stoked on that.

I don't know your artistic taste, but as cool as the Louvre can be, the Orsay (http://www.musee-orsay.fr/en/home.html) is amaaazing. Perhaps my favorite museum I've ever been to.
It has a lot of impressionistic/post-impressionistic artwork in it. Check it out if you have the chance!

(Keep) have(ing) fun. I'm jealous, I miss europe. Also... Why were you denied access into the UK? If you answered this on another blog, don't tell me. I'm going to read your other recent entries in a moment.
