Dear Friends:
It has recently come to our attention that a company, by the name of "Fat Boy Hype" (F.B.H.)Entertainment has been identifying itself as Philadelphia Fashion Week producers and has produced a weekend event.
While we encourage you to explore every avenue available to you to maximize your fashion experience and exposure, we also recommend our clients to do reasonable research on the experience and history of so-called fashion show producers.
At the request of several of our registered designers and association members, we took the liberty of doing some research on the aforementioned company. Using an online research, we were able to determine that this company is solely working from a myspace page and has no connection with our website, association or list of designers. Furthermore, our attempt to contact them has gone unanswered. So, we continue to investigate the matter.
Again, please feel free to engage in as many viable fashion opportunities for your career as you can, but please exercise caution when selecting the companies you deal with. Please feel free to contact us at
legal@phillyfashionweek.com if you have any concerns or queries, or to inform us of any similar activity that you are aware of.
Sincerely,
The Philadelphia Fashion Week Committee.
Note: that the Philadelphia Fashion Week is schedule to take place in 2009 and it's produced by the Philadelphia Fashion Week Association and its sponsors and legal representatives.
The official website of Philadelphia Fashion Week is: www.phillyfashionweek.com.
