There seems to be some merit to the rumors that Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham are indeed in the studio working on new material!

I am of the opinion that Robert Plant will join them shortly and we will have a new Led Zeppelin album and tour in 2009!

It all makes sense: Robert has always shyed away from the concept of a "nostalgia tour".
The last two Page/Plant projects/tours had new material and new arrangements.
That kept it exciting and original at the time.

Although I loved the way they played at the O2 and would have LOVED to be there, it WAS a flashback.
Nothing new.

So this makes sense.
If Led Zeppelin is gonna tour, they have to come up with new material!
I am so happy!!!

Robert has always said that he'd only do it if they could all sit down in a room and come up with new material.
It seems that is exactly what is happening.

Hurray! New material for Led Blimpie to learn!!!!
