Current mood:  worried
From my Jen's blog .....................................

About a month before I had Sebastian, Anastasia went to live with a friend of mine. Anastasia is a very sweet & loving cat, but she has mood swings more severe than my own. One minute she'll love all over someone, & then the next minute she just might bite the hell out of the same person. I was afraid of how she would be around a new baby and old kitty (Sascha)! Anyway, I just found out last week that she ran away from my friend's house a while ago, so I no longer have any clue where she is, if she's okay, even if she's alive. We are desperate to find her, & willing to try bringing her here to live with us. OR, if I find her & I have confirmation that she is in a safe & loving home, I'd be willing to leave here there. I just need to know where she is & if she is okay. PLEASE, if anyone has any information about her, please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you!

She is a large female, Maine Coon, Silver/Grey, Long Hair, Furry tail, very sweey but thinks she's a badass.

SHE WAS LAST LIVING ON SYDNEY STREET....NEAR PARK & CHERRY/WILLOWBRANCH PARK & LIBRARY....JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA (RIVERSIDE)!

if this is an outdoors cat - the cat probably got depressed with the new surroundings/ caretakers. cats are very particular like that, very sensitive little meowers.

my cats did that in nyc, but there was nowhere for them to run to (they would run out into the hallway when the door opened but they couldn't really get farther than the elevator) ...

well, good luck.

I would check your local human society, Maine Coons are not very common, I hope you find her, Also check with your local ASPCA, or the police. Once again I hope you find her.

I will say a prayer that you find your cat, Rom, I know what its like to lose a companion like that, I had to leave my precious Rusty (half lynx/half tabby) when I moved several years ago, and I was unable to get him back. I hope and pray that you get Anastasia back.

I know an A Beaverhausen- so I read the ad. I also had a Maine Coon- their personalities are incredibly similar!
When WAR was about to break out she'd come at you sideways like a crab... and then YOU DIE.
She didn't back down either- thankfully I can jump on kitchen counters faster than she.
I do hope you find your kitty.
Miss Kitty used to get stolen all the time- but then she'd come back.
Whomever has her probably adores her- if that makes you feel any better, they are probably taking very good care of your kitty cat!
Let's hope for the best, they do tend to be incredibly lucky though.
