Hello fellow Rivilians!
Hope you are all well! Where the bloody hell did January and February go eh? For those of you who made new years resolutions I hope you have stuck to them, unlike myself who is still a horrible, dirty, smelly, peeping-tom smoker apparently! For those of you who have been at the most recent gigs (the Jooglebury and The Providence) we thank you kindly. Both gigs were very enjoyable and the band were very happy with everything.
This month in Reveals land means more writing and more gigs - Gigs that you should come and have a look at! We have been playing a few new songs at the gigs which have been going down well. One song in particular includes a mandolin and Casio keyboard (CRAZY SHIT!). Many of the new songs don't have titles as yet, so if you come along to the gigs, do give us some song title ideas. At the moment, the song title that you have to beat is 'Tinkle, Tinkle' and 'The De Da Song'.
On the 17th of march this year we will be back on The Freebutt stage in Brighton. The venue was closed down for a while but returned late last year. We personally haven't played at The Freebutt for about two years so it'll be nice to plant our feet back on it again. Last time we played there the bass amp decided to fall over on stage, so even if you don't like our music you should come to see jimmy be squashed by a bass amp, and myself generally falling over (that's an 'in' joke for anyone who witnessed The Marquee gig in January. My excuse = Free bar).
