Current mood:  blissful
Its been a while since i have blogged on myspace (or in general) so I hope this goes well. Cross your fingers.
Lately I have traveling a lot and enjoying my passions in life, yoga, music, love and art. It has recently brought me some great opportunities. I am now playing National Women's Music Festival ( along with the Sirens and Emily Caudill from  Weber) next month in Madison, Wisconsin and hopefully winning a slot on the big stage next year.. I am in the "true" process of releasing a new record with my full band, The Hi-Jackers. And I am moving to Phoenix in September to explore more options musically and romantically. 2009 rocks! With all of that being said. I am delighted to tell you that my song, "Stand" is featured in a documentary that just got picked up by HBO and will be showing later this month!! I am thrilled and wanting to celebrate by doing an event on July 10th with poetry, music and film. The event will be a social justice event dealing with racism and segregation. It will feature poetry by S.H.E.(Solidying Her Evolution), a viewing of an award winning documentary and music by my myself and my full band!
Here is all the info that you should need:

When: July 10th, 2009

Where:River Bend Winery
120 S. 10th St.
Louisville,KY 40202

Cost: suggested donation of $10

I hope you can make it!!!!!!! Tell all of your friends please:) Let's break bread and drink wine together!
 Love you all so much,
Teneia

It's wonderful that things are working out well for you Teneia!  I wish you the best as you explore your new opportunities in Phoenix as well... though I've got to say that you will be missed here in Louisville.  All the same, keep on following where your dreams lead you, and know that you have friends here who will always be glad to welcome you back - whether visiting or returning to stay.  Either way, the support and friendship of those of us here will be with you wherever you go.  Blessings.
