'Government consultation' might not sound like the most exciting couple of words. But it's better than it sounds. It means the government is offering everyone a chance to have their say! This means YOU!
 
Right now, the government are running a consultation about violence against women and girls. It's really important for all supporters of Children are Unbeatable – girls, boys, men and women.
 
The government rightly says that all violence against women is wrong, wherever it happens and whoever commits it.

But the law still says that violence against under-18s in their own homes and from their own families is OK!
 
This has to stop! To help prevent violence against women and girls, the government needs to give all children equal protection from violence.
