Go go gadget Guatemala. Los Angeles-based (and Guatemala born) musician Gaby Moreno layers on soul in her new found role as the lucky lady opener for the 'Fast Car' superstar, Tracy Chapman.

The exclusive, fourteen-city, North American summer tour hits The Wiltern on Wednesday, August 19th with the full-force of guitar girls gone wild. Singer/songwriters across the city, prepare to be humbled. Last time Tracy Chapman was in town she covered Nirvana's 'Come As You Are' at the Hollywood Bowl with a soothing and cool confidence that made you want to be her best friend.

Following a successful conquest of Europe, TC is bringing the tour stateside in support of her newest album, Our Bright World (Atlantic). Moreno, singing in both Spanish and English, will perform material off of her latest release, Still The Unknown (self released).

Give me one reason, NOT to go.
