I just finished recording the first drafts of 4 new songs. They still need to be mixed, and one or two may need to have some parts re-recorded. If you’ve seen me play at open mics, you’ll probably recognize "Still Without A Name," and I’ve performed "I look Away" once, but the two part song Reflections has pretty much never been performed (I may have done Reflections II once.) Anyway, Reflections part I(A letter from Mandi paraphrased) is a bluesy guitar feature where I read a fictional letter(based on a real one she wrote) to myself from a certain ex-girlfriend who will remain nameless and transitions into Reflections part II(The Mirror) which is a rebuttle to the letter in the form of a stripped down chord-strumming song like most of my other songs.
These songs will hopefully be the foundation for my next album/ep. A few potential titles I have for the album are "There and Back Again: A Musician’s Tale," "Reflections," "From Ohio to California," "Former Street Performer" "From My Parents’ Basement." What do you guys think.
