Remember Mo? I named him after Mo Mandel, my partner in Reality Bites Back. He was adopted by two great guys. They brought him in to Petco for a visit. I honestly think Mo remembered me. I'm sure he did. He was friendly and came right up to me. He has such a soft luxurious coat and his tabby markings are like wood grain. I've never seen markings like his. He is very handsome.

If you remember, when I was foster parenting Mo, he had a problem with Eric. I believe he had an orange sibling that got him booted out of whatever home he came from. I was at the pound when he came in all by himself. Mo had no problem with other cats, just Eric. I decided he had a problem with orange cats. That's my pet psychic theory and who's going to dispute me?

So I'm holding Mo and he's being really good and calm for being out in public. If you look at the lower right corner of the photo, that's you know who, Eric. Eric never had a problem with Mo. In fact Eric is so thick, he never knew Mo hated him. So I showed Mo... "Look Eric's here!"

HISSSSSSSS! He remembers Eric too!

Then Mo's Dad, Jim, decided to hold another cat - AN ORANGE ONE! Mo got very upset and he bit me on the cheek. He has a problem with other orange cats. I'm telling ya!

I'm a pet psychic. I am I am I am.

I am the same way. I believe in my heart of hearts I am a dog whisperer.

Yeah, some orange-hairded humans are hissy to everyone like that,
even each other.

Thats cool that the new Dads of Mo(e) are in your blog now.

The three of them make a very handsome family,
especially with the two different colors of Mo(e) eyes in the pic.

You must have played a lot of old Bowie when Mo(e) was in your
house and it turned his eyes two different colors :-D

Yeah I should have photoshopped Moe's pupils. And thank you for remembering that he now has an "e" in his name. It is only the pupils that look two different colors.
My friend who got me into foster parenting has a cat with two different colored eyes. He named him "Bowie"
I'm not going to argue this with him any more; it's his cat and he loves David Bowie but, still, he is wrong.
David Bowie's eyes are the same color. They appear different because one eye has a blown pupil. He was injured as a kid, now that eye has a pupil that is always dialated.
This was not caused by the Norwegian fan who threw a lollipop into his eye.

Monster A Go-Go

Are Mo's new parents a (gasp!?) married gay couple? Do NOT let the "Yes on 8" people in on this. Not only have they been trying to promote the "sanctity of marriage" and trying to stop schools from teaching about gay marriage...but I'm sure they'd all over saving our rescued cats andkittens from the evils of being raised by (O' the horror!) gay married people!!

NO ON 8!!!

Okay... Off of my soap box for now... And into my cat box (eew)...

It's great that Mo was adopted and you got to see him again--but how sad for Eric to still be without a home. And now that he is beyond the cute kitten stage, his chances of getting adopted are diminishing... It's all so very sad.

Pet psychic? I'm sure you are. You've been around cats/kittens long enough now that I'm sure you are tuned in to them. What were you doing at Petco...or did you just tune in that mo and Eric would be there????

The Glendale Petco is where we do adoptions. Three of the Gimme litter were there two days prior.
Lots of our furbabies go to homes with two Daddies.
We want our little charges to go to people who are loving, responsible, sensitive, caring, mature, intelligent, stable, afectionate.....
You know, the kind of folks religious fundamentalists regard as sinful heathens.

YAY! It's so gratifying when one what we love and care for is loved and cared for someone else, then they remember US!

I wish a couple of daddies or mommies or a daddy and a mommy or a daddy or a mommy would come take some of my foster furkids off my hands! Love is love, no matter who gives it!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE all my foster furkids....my nose doesn't! I've had to go back on allergy tabs daily.
Seems 3 is the limit for my snoze and we're currently up to 8! I say, EIGHT IS ENOUGH!

Keep up the good work!

Hi "Kitten Pet Psychic" this is Milo and Griffin (Kevin's Kittens)we have a few question for you to use your psyhic powers on.

1. Will we ever win the lottery. Griffin and I need a vacation. Kevins weird. He tells stupid jokes and he thinks we like them.

2.
Will we ever learn to go to the batroom in the toilet, like the cat did in "Meet The Parents?"
3. Will Kevin ever stop putting on his "Song and Dance" shows for us. If he doesn't stop, we may have to get a one way ticket back to the shelter. We can't take one more of these shows. We are forced to watch. Thank you for all your help...Meow..meow.. :)

First off, you can learn to use the toilet quite easily IF you really want to (and that's a big IF). There are kits to help you with this. I've read some reviews and it seems the Litter Kwitter is the favorite. http://www. litterkwitter. com/en/index. php
I was going to try this with my kids but I have to keep the toilet seat down at all times to prevent any foster kittens from drowning.
I'd love to follow the progress of kitties who learn to do this!
It would be totally awesome if you could also learn to flush the toilet! But don't get carried away like this cat:

I know you need a vacation and Kevin's dancing is getting on your nerves. Listen, humor him. Let him dance until he's tired, then when he's asleep, get that leather thing out of his pants. NO NOT THAT THING! His wallet! OK there's some green paper in there. Those green pieces of paper are used for travel - Yeah, that's the ticket! You can exchange them for round trip air fare. OK YOU can't, cuz, like, you're cats, but I can ...as a service to you. Consider me your travel agent, yeah, travel agent. Just send me all the green papers you can find. I will mail you your tickets in about a week.

Ciao
