Hello everyone,

I want to say thank to everyone that came to our launch night in Glasgow and making it a sell out! Cant believe it. Seom lovely peopel from the audience actually recorded the whole gig too and brought it on a CD to us at our gig the next day on teh radio from Oran Mor... Patrick has the CD, so Im keen to hear it ( not my bum notes though!) What a great  night it was, and made so by everyone that came along..most of whom we did not know, which is always a good sign at a gig!

Our EP is for sale, and you can purchase it from the front page of this myspace for £5 and we will post it to you no bother.

Now, it is off to Glenfarg, and straight up to Lochcarron after that! We will be armed with our EPs!

Thank you to Iain Anderson, and Archie Fisher from Radio Scotland for the air play of our EP, and thank you also to Mary Burke for the debate on Sunday night live on Celtic Music Radio, and thanks to SUnny Govan too for the airplay.

Also, we are very sorry to those who turned up at the gig and were turned away at the door as it was sold out adn had reached capacity. We hope you can make our next Glasgow gig.

Take care for now

Hi Vivien, Thank you for a wonderful performance too you had me bubbling into a piece of flowery kitchen roll promptly handed to me by my friend Teresa when she saw my emotions coming to the fore when you sangThe Lights go out with Patrick and Laura ,What a song! and what a well organised and enjoyable gig . I also enjoyed the debate so much and my emails where overflowing and Alan ended up putting the phone of the hook because it was non stop :) I hope the debate helped some way to highlight the Pay to play issues and I have to tell you . I was gobsmacked that my idea for a musicians Pot was taken on board so enthusiasticly There is already £1500 being pledged by musicians thats 15 people who are happy to put £100 on the table for a Pot to let us put on our own gigs where all will get paid and to run tours etc some one did say to me later it was funny because the debate was about Pay to play and there was me asking people to put their £100 on the table to get us funded to change this dreadful practice :) My answer to that is it is an investment in any musicians career so not asking anyone to pay to play I am asking them to invest in a workable solution which is good for us all . Think you may have started a Revolution here Viv and I look forward to the outcome. Mary x

Glad to hear the gig went so well.. not that there were ever any doubts

And looks like you..ve proper kicked off a debate about payments for musicians

RE: Marys comment - Its brilliant that 15 people have pledged 100 pounds each,
Just goes to show that the regular punters do appreciate music for what it is and many are just unaware that venues and promoters are taking the piss

Hope to catch youse live very soon
