We are currently putting together plans for touring UK (September) and USA (January 2010)

but we need some help from you guys, we've made great contacts up till now but really wanna hear from the PEOPLE that live there and go to all the events & bands.

Where would u reccommend? Who should we speak to (if we not already talking to them!) Radio stations that we should contact?

Bands... if u guys can help us out with some information we'll gladly help you tour to our world!

So this feed is here to get some ideas from all of you.

Will really appreciate anything you guys throw here!

Well personally, I'd kill to see you guys here in Ohio, USA. And I know that Columbus (in my opinion) is the best spot to play because it's nearly in the dead center of Ohio and convenient for most folks. Some notable venues would be the Al Rosa or LC Pavilion. Unfortunately, I couldn't help you as far as radio and people go, sorry. But good luck to guys, hope the tour plans here in the States goes down well and I hope to see you here in Ohio next year. :)

Philadelphia is a great place to play metal shows. We have a strong metal following with many regulars attending almost any metal concert they can find in the city. We have many venues I encourage you to look into.

First and foremost, we have the Trocadero, which is a fairly large venue in the Chinatown section of Philadelphia. IMany bands metal bands preform there, ranging from Cradle of Filth to Opeth to Suicide Silence and everything in between. It is a very nice venue with a large stage. It is the ideal venue in Philly, but for a first headlining tour of the States, it might be a bit big. Here is a link to their website.

http://www.thetroc.com/

A somewhat smaller venue (which I just saw the French band Gojira preform in a couple weeks ago) is the Theatre of the Living Arts (also known as the TLA). It has a large capacity, but for the Gojira show it was somewhat empty. About 300 people on a Sunday night. For a first headlinging tour...this also may also be a bit big. But here is a link to their website for reference.

http://www.livenation.com/venue/theater-of-the-living-arts-tickets

Now a nice small venue I have attended was actually in the basement of a church. This church is called the First Unitarian Church and it is located in Philadelphia. It has a very nicely sized basement which hosts concerts for all varieties of music. When I was there, I saw the bands Attack Attack! (whom I personally don't really like), Burn Halo, Black Tide, and Escape the Fate. This I think is your best bet as far as size-appropriateness goes. Unfortunately, it has the disadvantage of being a very underground venue and not all that many people know about it, though it is getting bigger and bigger. Here is a link to their website.

http://www.philauu.org/index.php/concerts

I hope I was somehow able to help, and I think your best bet would be to try for the church first. Philadelphia is a great city and I think you would enjoy playing it and visting it very much. I hope you can make it here, and if you do, look for me in the front row. ;)

again, ill be their with my friends in force. we are in oregon, so portland oregon here in the US would be nice. hit me up for info on some good venues here, im pretty well versed in them. ive done PR for some bands and some venues here. i can also recomend some local bands here that you would enjoy listening to and even join you on stage that could draw a mass amount of people, and thats saying something for a local band. Last.fm puts you guys as the first band for similar artist with one of the bands im thinking of. anyways, if you want some info on the venues here in Portland Oregon let me know and ill give you as much detail as i can and i can even go out of the way to get more for you, i have a lot of connections in the music world here and know a lot of the people to talk to or know people that know who to talk to. im all for helping bands out. i know how hard it can be to get out their and make something of yourself.

If you looking for some places in Illinois i suggest The Pearl Room in Mokena. Its a good choice and The Pearl Room has a myspace you can check out (http://www.myspace.com/pearlroom). Almost all of their concerts are metal and all ages which means many of your younger fans can come. There is a metra south train from Chicago like only 200 yards or so from place which means fans can come from Chicago or surrounding places to The Pearl Room. I really hope you consider it because its a pretty good location in Illinois and is not directly in Chicago but close enough for people to come. I imagine getting a show in Chicago is a pain so that why i suggested this instead.

i love you guys, know that!

and as for the UK [everyone else seems to be from USA] i suggest you tour at least the major citys such as:

London
birmingham
leeds
manchester or liverpool
oxford
southampton or portsmouth [<< for DEFINATE, cause then i can go and get a good team of people to promote and such]
brighton
bournemouth
cardiff
glasgow
edinburugh

try and get some irish dates too though! i hear belfast and dublin are quite popular.

for the south [cause i live there] i recommend these venues:
southampton guildhall
southampton joiners - http://www.joinerslive.co.uk/
portsmouth wedgewood - http://www.wedgewood-rooms.co.uk/

portsmouth wedgewood and southampton joiners are very small, generally bands go to these just to get their names known if they want to headline. southampton and portsmouth guildhall are bigger gigs, not huge but reletively big. These would be better if you were support acts.

if you ask me its better to go for a smaller show and have it sold out. than going for a bigger venue and selling fewer tickets. If it's a popular location and a good show then you know to come back there next time and play a bigger show :).

Wow, I's really love to see you guys on concert, you should bring with you Betrey The Emissary, they're way good too, but not as much as you guys :P

Please, if you come to the US, you have to come to Utah, I know it's kinda lonely and boring here but I'd love to see you, and I bet alot of people would come see you :D

So perhaps if you come, yoc could come at Murray Theater, that place is awesome for concerts, or if not, try The Venue or Saltair :D

Well, I just really hope you come to Utah cause i love your 2 albums and the new one is sounding amazing.

Adding to what Shawn Harper (Portland, OR) said, myself being a Portland transplant from Minnesota/Wisconsin (odd there may be two of us!)

Minnesota (more notably the Twin Cities) First Ave. is a great venue but it may be easier getting a gig at The Rock in Maplewood, MN (Northeastern-ish improper suburb) I've noticed more acts playing there mostly in part First Ave can have an ego.

For Wisconsin; I can't argue with Milwaukee, but Madison may also show a lot of promise.

Portland, Oregon - not a decision to think about, it's a must that you tour through here.
-I've got my tickets for KMFDM as well as Skinny Puppy and they're both playing at The Wonder Ballroom. The Hawthorne Theatre, though, would be the better of the two.

As for any local acts within any of the locations, in Minnesota there are many similar genre's within Minneapolis, St. Paul, and even Mankato. In Portland, sadly, I've found few decent acts.

Any other help- I'll see what I can do.

You guys should come to denver, colorado in the US!! Get a hold of 106.7 KBPI! It's denver's metal/alternative radio station. They are huge on supporting smaller bands that don't have as many connections. They host a lot of tours that come through denver and they always get local bands to play, I don't see why they wouldn't help you guys out! You guys rock.

Their main office number is: (303) 713-8000

I'm sure if you guys get a hold of someone from the station and make them listen to you guys, they'd be more than happy to help you guys come through!!

Hope this helps.
Keep it metal guys.
