Despite what you may think after reading this, this has nothing to do with anyone i know. I just wrote it one day for english. I think its pretty good. If ya have any comments, you're welcome to post them.
A Romantic's Tale
I tell you now a tale of two,
A tale to hear from me to you.
A tale of love, a tale of loss,
No lying words to thee I toss,
If it be true I cannot say,
They're only words to guide the way.
So listen close for stop I won't
So heed my words and do take note
There was a girl, a maid so fair, with glowing locks of golden hair,
All the knights, from far and wide, dared duel to stand on her right side.
She was a child of their fair king with all the things to her liking.
With locks of golden and skin of peach, she was beyond any mans reach
Her voice like bells, with eyes of blue, her beauty was as pure as snow.
In London her home did reside, on the Thames riverside.
A mansion tall of bristling stone, a house for those you leave alone.
A mighty wall was built about, to keep the many people out
Four pike men stood about the gate, to pass you had long to wait.
For the fair lord kept all away, his child he would hide away.
With golden rings and jewels galore, for her he built a mighty store
For all the things she wished to keep, for all the things that were not cheap.
A Greed she had no man could sate, no King of men no lord of state.
But in love many men did fall, with her beauty from beyond the walls.
Though cared not did she for gold she had, she held no love for a fair lad
Then came a season known as fall, when to lovely things did death befall.
Locked in her suite high in the keep; she kept herself alone to weep.
For many years alone she stayed, and in those years her glory did fade.
Then love she sought but could not find, from all the men she once denied.
So alone she stayed until her time, thus ends my morality rhyme.
