Well hello honeys...

Here's what's up in Day Eleven Land at the moment:

Yes, we are still in the process of writing more and more new material with our upcoming third album in mind. We do have a lot of songs (maybe half of the album) written but we want to push ourselves as far as we can to make sure the next one is fucking perfect, and that we really have something important to say. We want to take the time to see all the possible directions we can take ourselves in, and make some decisions later when we have lots and lots of inspired stuff to choose from. We are working with the deadline of March 2009 in mind, but don't take that for granted, it can change either way.

We will be hitting the studio at the end of the year if all goes well. Before that, we've got some shows to play here in Finland, at which we'll be putting many of the new songs to the test. So, in order to be among the blessed first to hear the wonderfully titled tunes Mormon Whore, Parmesan, Isokuovi, Uskis and Laimea Paska among many other future favorites, get your ass to:

Lithuania, July 2008:


After breakfast in Vilnius, July 4th 2008. Luca's vomit just out of shot.

Oh yeah, the show. Well, what can I say, we played a fiery show to a couple of dozen crazy drunken people in the middle of a forest just before the sunrise. It was pretty weird... we had fun, and the audience was lovely. The stage was set pretty cool, sort of half a barn as you can see. After the show. Making friends, getting happily wasted. Sopanen's passing out with a fresh drink in hand, Kimmo's falling in and passing out by the river and Janne's vomit just out of shot.

Next day at the airport in Riga. The check-in was pure hell but the smiles never left our faces.

Thanks for the good times Nino and Santa, our driver, and all the other good people we met.
