KRS, Brotha J of X Clan, and MI HipHop!

OK this is going to be rambling because I really can't express the way I felt at the show!

I am very proud to see that MI artists (Dante, Invincilana, Finale, Verse is, Sponge, Majest Leg, and anybody I forgot) took their skills to anotha level for the KRS performance at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, MI!

It was surprising to see Brotha J show up - not scheduled for performance. "I just had to show love to my man KRS because I heard he was in town." He rocked 2 classics and 1 from the new LP. The roof was comin' off at the gutters!

BUT DAYUM KRS!
Hell, even my man Kado got a shout out for his Circular Flow Youth Program during KRS's freestyle! "I will see you there if it's about teaching the youth!"
I love the fact that KRS had such respect and love for the crowd!
I love that he showed us how much FUN you can have moving the crowd... from rocking over classical music to freaking acapella to allowing One Be Lo do a set in the middle of his performance... CLASSIC! (KRS was so excited to perform, he took over One Be Lo's set and called him back to the stage to perform, now that's respect and it's LIVE)

HIP HOP LIVES!

Apparently, the system goes out on his performances quite a bit.
My friend told me he saw KRS perform about 10 years ago.
People were about to leave until he projected his voice without using a mic.
Now that's breath control!
