Current mood: accomplished
Forced Underground was started in late 2007 when two dudes in Hollywood quit their respective bands and started a band together that they would co-front. The power of combining the two front men was felt immediately and songs oozed together. After jamming and trying out a few drummers they quickly created a set list and played their first show May 5th 2008 with Ean Nash on the skins. In June they recorded a four song demo with Ean McGregor at Orange Whip Studios in Santa Barbara. After which Nash would depart, and Marco Antonio Contreras would enter on tubes. In August 2008, after the demise of San Diego's Sayaka, Forced Underground toured the northwest in place of said SD band. Also taking Kevin Sayaka along as second guitarist. The beginning of 2009 saw F.U. plagued with drummer and financial problems after Marco decided to move back to Venezuela and stacking debt reared it's ugly head. But in May 2009 Forced Underground was revitalized with drummer Tyler Berger. Demo '09 was recorded with Jesse from Innocence Lost Records and Shows were played all over California. In September 2009, Doug and Bekkett decided to move the band to Northern California. Tyler decided the move was not for him. October saw F.U. struggling with financial and legal problems. In November a founding member would be forced to move back to the east coast. They played one last show before he left, November 7, 2009. The future is unclear. Ideas include: writing bi-coastal, east-coast tours, e.p., and all kindza other fun stuff.
