Summer of Reading 2009

For teens from 6th-12th grade the theme of this year is: Express Yourself
The program runs from Friday May 29th-Saturday August 8th
The last day to register for the Summer of Reading program will be Friday July 31st
The last day to recieve prizes will be Saturday August 8th

Make sure you register and participate because there are, as always, prizes! From the Rockies Backpack to tickets to Elitches and your choice of a book or journal. People who complete the program are also entered into 2 drawings! A drawing at your library branch for an I-pod shuffle and a city wide drawing for Dell laptops. Kellie knows people who have actually won the drawings, so it is worth a shot!

Also remember that Teens, you are encouraged to review books on the Summer of Reading website! I-pod Shuffles or Target gift cards are the incentive prizes for entering book reviews. The website will be up shortly and when it is, a link will be provided.
