I think I was to hard on my poor old dad. He called about a problem with one of their TV's. He said the big screen set in the family room had no signal. They have cable. They got cable when it first came out in 1977. I lived there and wired every room in the house with cable. Back then the cable company didn't like that as they wanted to charge you extra for every set you hooked up. So my dad just calls and says the one set has no signal but all the other sets have cable working. This is what upset me. He said he called the cable company about the problem. He also called a 800 number for Samsung. I told my dad if the other sets have cable working you know it's not a cable problem. The cable company was going to actually come out but he didn't let them at least because he didn't want them to see how many sets were hooked up. I don't think that matters these days actually. At least he was thinking. So my brother finds out what the problem is. The Samsung's remote control has so many buttons on it. They have had the set for a year but for the first time they accidentally pressed a button to take the set off cable. It's fixed. I got to excited and apologized. The cable company would charge to come out and fix a problem that wasn't theirs. Alright, I feel better now that I've told you.
