Current mood:  determined
"The gold affections of my past now are just rusted tin"

The ride is getting bumpy, and I don't know how much I dig it anymore.  The facade has become thinner, but at the same time it has lifted me to an incredible new level.  So I must ask myself, what is that I want from all this?  Have I already received it?  I think I have.  I have all of your attention.  That's all I really ever wanted.  I wanted you to listen to what I have to say, and enjoy, with me, all that's fucked up in this world.  And you have.  I thank you.  But this is just the beginning.  We've just begun to scratch the surface, but I don't think this vehicle is going to get us any further.  It may be time for a new car.
Greetings from the top of the Commodore.  Thanks for all the support, votes, and good vibes you all have been sending.  And for the other side, thanks for the bad vibes...they keep me grounded.   I actually liked my performance last week.  A little nervous?  Maybe.  I guess all the previous weeks have been forgotten.
Anyway I have added a Brea, CA date and a NYC date.  They will be posted when I get confirmed dates.  Hope to see you there.

Peace and Love

Were you the one with the sign that said "Marry Me Chris"?

And Chris, I think the nervousness played well. And let me tell you, that raver glitter disco ball joke definitely got me ROFLing. I know way too many ravers. And I am not a raver. But you got their dance down.

You are one of the funniest unknown talents that I have ever watched on Last Comic Standing.  I loved the bit this week when you compared smoking and drinking to peeing and pooping.  Now, I am waiting for you to perform live in my area, so that I can laugh uncontrollably with the rest of the audience and not just while watching my television in my underwear with my bong in hand.  Sorry if I took that too far, at least I didnt say where my other hand was...down my pants and not the front side.  But that has nothing to do with you, that's for Roz.  I think I said too much. Anyways, keep up the hilarity, and I will carry on with the uproarious laughter.

no worries Chris....from scouring the internet, it looks like you and Josh are the most popular.  You'll be playing to sold out shows when LCS is over - I would think you did what you set out to do.  Enjoy and best of luck to you!

Ahh, I've wondered how the pressure of the "business" gets to all the young comics.  I'm sure they put expections on to you that you hadn't considered.  Keep yourself in the real, because when you play into the ridiculousness that those 15 minutes can bring.  Personally I think you have at leat 17 mininuts in you....

Well isn't Brea making themselves quite the mecca of comedy.  There is a good resturant right up the street from the comedy club there that has a gazillion beers, funny I can't remember the name.  I visit often, too bad my trip won't be when you are there, I'd have to buy a ticket and let you make me laugh.

Keep the smiles on the inside too.

Hey sweetie, don't worry so much.  Everything will be o.k.  I've known you since you were pretty much just beginning in the industry.  I've always known that you would make it and you still will.  You know I've always believed in you and thought that you were extremely talanted, and obviously I'm not the only one.  Even if last week's performance wasn't necessarly as good as those in previous weeks, you still prove to be funnier than some of the other comedians.  The jokes were still very funny, but perhaps the timing was a little off on the religion bit.  I still voted, and made sure everyone I knew voted as well.  Hopefully I'll be able to see you when you're in K.C.

Well now, aren't you full of interesting energy! Good for you Chris...by the way, I'm one of those good vibe senders!  All that matters in this crazy, rollercoaster, brain fucked world is that you get out of it and take with you, something beautiful, and something useful.  I love your comedy, and I love your open, honest approach to your crazed, slightly neurotic friends and fans!  I guess I would have to be plopped into that category as well...Keep up the great work!!

A man does what he must in spite of personal consequences, in spite of obstacles and dangers, and pressures and that is the basis of all human morality.  John F. Kennedy, Profiles in Courage (1956)

Hey Chris. I've never had the experience, but I imagine that being in the public eye in a larger forum than you've been used to is pretty fucking intimidating. I've loved all of your performances, but really, it's not the material or the night or the stage that matters. It's the comedian. You have ...something. "The" something. If you don't dig the facade, then change it. You can be at this level and play their game but you can make the playing arena look however you want it to, not unlike the Matrix. lol. Your vehicle can be whatever make and model you choose. Haha. Mixed metaphors. But YOU started it with the whole car thing! :) Chin up. You've got my attention too and believe me, even if you ever do have a bad night, your fans have always got your back. :)

ps--Come back to Tempe! Portland (OR) works for me too. Ha.

Chris even if you are feeling under the gun, you continue to pull out great subtle material that is even funnier when revisited.  I TIVO each episode and rewatch the previous week before the newest one starts, mainly cause I hate Fear Factor and there is nothing on. . . and your set from last week was even funnier. . .You always make me laugh and think and then laugh some more. . . thanks::

Hey chris! Listen, take it from a musician who has been out here struggling. You will always have the losers who want to put you down and hate on you. What you have to focus on is honing your craft to be the best you can be. If you feel in your heart that you have attained that, fuck everyone else. THEIR opinions don't matter. That's why they are losers.  Someone will always have something negative to say. The trick is NOT TO LISTEN.  I actually think that you and Josh are the most talented comics on that show. You both have been equally consistent where others have failed miserably.  Keep your head up, i know you can get to where this whole celebrity head trip can play with your mind but keep your focus on the goal and that's getting out there and recognition! Take care and hit me up! i think you are S E X Y! MEOW!

Chris, you got robbed. Last Comic Standing has done that in the past, but this year I was hoping it would be different. There were some very funny people who didn't make it into the 'house', and looking at the comics on the Queen Mary you were easily the funniest. Unless my memory is wrong, no one challenged you to a head to head. There's a reason for that.

After watching the full (or so I assume) sets on nbc.com/lcs, I think the producers edited things horribly. All the viewers have to go on is what they see, and it can't be a real competition when the voters don't see it all. The last few weeks you pulled farther ahead while the others repeated some stuff we'd already seen. It kills me to see comics on TV or hear them on the radio doing the same bits they just did on other shows. It's one thing when you're on tour and in different cities, but to repeat stuff on the same TV show is beyond lame.

Things didn't go the way they should have, I couldn't believe it when they called your name on Tuesday. I stopped watching, the show was over.

Know that you gained alot of fans using this vehicle. You're not only a great comic, but you did this the way it should be done.

I saw Chris live this past weekend... and the show did him absolutely no justice!! Someone in the crowd told him he should have won and he told them that's not why he did LCS... he said he did it to get all us MFers to come out and see him. Well, he most certainly got what he wanted... I'm pretty sure all 7 shows in Chattanooga, TN sold out. If you ever have the opportunity to see him live, don't you dare miss it!!!
