Current mood:  accomplished

Good god kids, how long does it really take to make a garage sounding CD?  I think Fleetwood Mac’s "Tusk" took less time than this!  Flat Cat had to take a step back and bring it back to the garage sound we were trying to achieve.

It’s done. In the can.  Finito.  El partio time.  Look for a release (the real hard copy version with real liner notes people - not some wave file out in internet lala land) on April 15th.  Just in time for you to use 10 bucks from your tax return to get the real thing and just in time for our Southern Exposure show at Blakes on 10th Street/Atlanta on April 17th at 9 pm.

We are doing a limited press of the real thing.  We recommend that you claim your copy now before our Baptist relatives buy them up and burn them and you are stuck with the downloaded version from Itunes when it is available in May.

What, you say what can I do to fill my Flat Cat desires until the release date?  Well kiddo’s, we have a little bonus track version of "Feel It" downloadable right this very second on myspace.  This is the version that has the lovely Stacey Gilles (Loo Cat) phoning in the verses from her home in the big NYC.  This is the booty thumping, got-to-get-on-the-dancefloor-now-before-the-drugs-wear-off version.  Buy if for the measly 99 cents and roll down the windows and play it so loud that that old couple in the car next to you gives you the finger.  Buy it! Tell your friend, family, neighbors, and church choir to buy it. We need money to buy some beer.

More shows coming up soon.
