"The MTV Video Music Awards is the hottest night in music. Now Comcast and MTV2 are recognizing local artists with a VMA of their own – The Best Breakout DC Artist Award!

MTV is reviewing your top 20 ranked artists and will select 3 to open the VMA concert at Six Flags America on August 29th and battle it out in front of an expert panel of judges."
