PREFACE
Before you read this post Series
, please, spend sometime in the scriptures asking God to reveal to you personally and find all references concerning the northern kingdom of Israel after Solomon's death, the sin of Israel before Ahab came to power, everything on Jezebel (interestingly, there is very little about the woman Jezebel, Queen of Israel), references to harlotry of this northern kingdom referred to as Israel and the New Testament Church as God views adultery, Revelations regarding Jezebel and the harlot on the beast, and everything you find on Jehu up until he dethroned the House of Ahab and had his feigned 'Ba'al worshipping party' and the aftermath of that episode. Much of this is in 1 and 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles. Refer also to Elijah and Elisha and understand the grief of Elijah as he battled against this Jezebel. Many references throughout the bible reflect back to this period of time as examples. Use a good tool such as www.blb.org to conduct your research if you wish, ignoring all commentaries except for Matthew Henry if you so need the help of commentary or need confirmation. If you are already a student of the Word and familiar with much of these topics and stories, then proceed. I do not feel like pointing out each and every scripture as a bible study on this topic but instead bring to light the real Jezebel as we are warned to be aware of in the Book of Revelations. These events will come back full circle in Revelations in the end times so we must know what we are up against as believers.

If your only knowledge in regards to Jezebel is in what others have written about or preached on this topic, please go to the Word, ask God to reveal the Truth and then proceed so that you will have a good understanding.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Traditionally, at least in modern times, Jezebel has been taught as being a beautiful woman who uses her beauty and sexual favors to over power helpless men who are so easily and unwittingly enticed to divorce their wives, commit sin and pawn over their beautiful whore. Many good women have been condemned as Jezebels due to jealousy stemmed from those of less attractive countenance. Men have condemned good women because they feel a sense of sexual arousal and thus cast blame on the deemed 'strange' women all in the name of putting out the Jezebel. Some even forbid God fearing women whom were naturally endowed with feminine features by God to honestly and openly speak their own testimonies in fear of promoting a Jezebel. These are common carnal renditions of Jezebel popularized by man, but nowhere to be found in God's own Word or even alluded to in any physical sense.

Is this really relevant for today?
All of the above mentioned associated aspects of Jezebel are exclusive properties of the Church and not the world. The mere name 'Jezebel' is a Church issue alone just like it was an Israel issue alone as perceived in the eyes of God as we witness His heartbreak over the divorce of His people from Him because of the affect of Jezebel and others like her, either before or after. This spiritual sickness spread ultimately to the southern kingdom, Judah, whom also followed Israels stiff necked and idolatrous ways which all culminated in the diaspora to Babylon and the ultimate silencing of the prophets until the time of Christ. Much of scripture illuminates this pain and frustration and anger in the heart of God as He sends wave after wave of messengers to try to woo her (Israel and Judah) back to him.

Jezebel and her minions of ba'al priests are direct enemies of God and His people in every spiritual sense. When you realize that the entire Old Testament is a record of God's own story with His people who repeatedly turned from Him and at times returned, the cause of their turning away is very grave and serious in the eyes of God since if mankind is not allowed the Truth of their condition and their requirement to submit to God and repent while they still have breath, their souls perish and the physical world perishes and thus Israel/Judah had been singled out to carry and demonstrate this message of hope and peace and eternity to the world as outlined by Moses and demonstrated by God. Israels turning away was very serious and affected the whole world with darkness. This darkness is lack of Truth.

We could leave Jezebel in the chronicles of Old Israel history except for the references to her in Revelations. Here we fully realize that this same thing that affected and caused the writings of lots of Old Testament scripture and pained the heart of God is back, entrenched in the Church by the time of Christs return. Here we also read how Jesus is very concerned with this condition and its affects and will judge accordingly much like we see what commenced during the days of Israel. How is it that the Church will be infected just like the Congregation of the Lord was affected in Old days? Just like Israel, we who believe in Christ, have been redeemed. Just like Old Israel, we too can fall away. Just like Israel, God can and will be angered by this. Just like Israel, we are the bride of Christ, Israel was God's wife. Christ and God are One and the same. Our condition is exactly the same as Old Israel. Their journey in the wilderness is our journey also. Our Gospel today is in fact identical to the Mosaic Covenant except with even more testimony and witness and with the actual words of Christ which Moses alluded too but could only dream about such a day to come. We now possess the entirety of the full gospel of God in both acts and covenants and salvation! This paragraph is by no measure an exhaustive comparison between Old Israel and the Modern Church. There are many other points that can be made along with with a few differentiations but the point is to bring to light the importance of Old Testament scripture and the stories and events thereof as it is relevant and useful for today.

Some of you may be wagging head screaming, 'replacement theology!' . This is not replacement theology. Israel today is very vital to our understanding as we watch their events unfold. Israel is Gods timepiece, in many ways, for us to discern the times. Israel and Judah and those with them will once again be delivered for the whole world to see. Our quest, however, culminates in one question: Where will the Church of Christ be when this happens? In a state of apostasy or a state of useful existence to clearly demonstrate to Israel and the world the Gospel of their only King, Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world?  Jesus asks us this very question, "Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" Luke 18:8.
The Hebrews of the Jewish, Torah faith are our brothers whether they like it, or perceive it or not. We are still requested by God to pray for the peace of Jerusalem eventhough in any event seems hopeless. Keep your eye on Israel, things will happen and God will prevail over the enemies that stumble the hearts of all men, At the end, mercy will in fact triumph since Israel will be redeemed and delivered and brought together with the purfied, post apostate Church of Christ under one King and this King is Jesus Christ Son of David.
(See ALL of Ezekial 37)

Therefor, we have no excuses since we have their (All of Israel) testimonies to add to our own and as a merciful bonus, God has deliberately absolved any requirements for us to perform rituals or rites or sacrifices except for us to willingly forsake ourselves and follow Christ as our true leader Who is the perfect one time for all time sacrifice as ordained by God to the benefit of all of mankind! Our works add nothing to our salvation since we are to simply believe that Christ did all the works acceptable by God but yet remain humble and walk with our Lord. Jesus Christ overcame so that we could overcome through Him. Christ really is our husband, in the spiritual sense, and we really are His bride in the same sense. This 'spiritual' sense is our eternal state of being once our short lived flesh is gone. Some men hate the thought of being a bride. Get over it! This is spiritual just like the topic of Jezebel and other mischievous spirits are purely spiritual. Rest assured, as a male or female in this life, you will be neither in the next. We will all be the same.

I sometimes ponder the thought of some decrepit soul rebellious before God, beating his wife mercilessly in this life, either physically or by casting spiritual burdens upon her as if he has some God given right and authority to do so. Then, one day finding his body is gone and his soul standing before God. He looks around and sees his wife but she is not a woman but a spirit and she is weeping. He realizes he is not a man nor any greater than she. God's eyes pierce his exposed soul as the event unfolds and the once-upon-a-time-man sees the previous afflictions and pain in this spirit he once knew as his wife and he crumbles before God crying out, "I didn't know! She was just a mere woman you gave me to be my servant". God responds, "I see no woman here, I see a spirit, a child of mine. No men or women here, just children. You called yourself a prophet, a minister and leader of souls. You convinced many in sundry ways that they needed you to get to heaven. You oppressed this child of mine by making her believe in lies and quenched her spirit like you quenched mine. You hurt so many of my children by leading them astray. Tell me then, O wise sage, what should I do with you?"

It would not be a stretch to state that all false teachers today have zero understanding of who the real Jezebel really is and thus have no ability to properly discern this topic in light of scripture eventhough they have filled Christian bookstores and bible studies with this topic, teaching it wrong. Those under her powers can not and will not see this Jezebel for what it really is and are completely blind to the Truth of what really manipulates them. This latter point is why so many fear this thing called Jezebel because few can understand it. It has been so mistaught, misrepresented that it is no wonder it is one of the most prevalent issues in today's Church as it attacks and dismantles the Church of Christ by leading masses away with its delusions and seductions and few even notice. Hopefully this article will shed the proper light to the betterment of your understanding so that you can take heed.

Dear Brother, ............This is a very serious topic that must be weighing heavily upon you. As you go about this writing..I suggest that you also read(if you have not) the understanding of the Catholic's. Because if you are reaching into this Area..which is an area that I call "Christian Kabbalah"..then you will need to understand the the Jezebel Spirit has two sides to it..and the other side of it..is the Spirit that many Catholics call Mary mother of god. I.E. This spirit that acts in opposition to G-D is the Spirit of Mother Nature. And it causes every problem on the earth..how-ever it is also the Wisdom that we find in Nature that makes the corrections to the problems that Nature also created. However once you have developed this understading..you will also note that it is the Spirit of Nature that is at the root of all evil..at that Point..only G-D Himself will decide whether He needs you here to extrapilate upon your independent Studies..since that is the case..and I know because I have already gone through the process..then you will realize that you will need to follow as a Jew..as Yeshua first asked those whose lives he touched. Mark 1:43-44. Once you are a Jew..you will again understand how difficult it will be to follow the Laws of Moses..if only because Mother Nature has created very strong small spirits that work in Opposition to the Will of those the try to follow G-D in any way. G-D's name in Hebrew is HASHEM! And that pronounciation of His name will keep you more quickly protected even than using the name Christ! Now your path should be clearer..G-D bless you in your Work. Shalom.

king Solomon Temple Fan - Please read this very carefully.........I understand that Mary, at many levels in Catholicism, is taught and promoted as a deity as mother of god and which mimics in much detail the pagan rites and ritual of Tammuz, Isis and Queen of Heaven. This manufactured concept manifests repeatedly by the appearance of complicated hierarchical systems which inherently produce levels of priesthoods and authoritative positions of power over the 'laity'. The Greeks called it 'Nicolaitae'. In carnal life, this is normal governmental procedure but in Spiritual, it is the work of demons...........Since I somewhat doubt your understanding of the simplicity of Christ Jesus of Nazareth, born of a virgin, the descendant of King David, as the Messiah repeatedly promised and hoped for by the Old Testament prophets and poetry, you might not be too clear in understanding the reason why He, as the Messiah and Rod and Root of Jesse, Prince of Peace, openly triumphed and prevailed over the Sanhedrin, Pharisee, Sadducee and others who ruled over the spiritual lives of the children of Israel with perversions of doctrine they obtained from Babylon and elsewhere and mixed with Mosaic Law and covenant; Just like Jezebel and others did generations before. This spiritual oppression caused great darkness and the Gospel of God as outlined in much detail by scripture was all but lost through great apostasy propagated by these false teachers. Jesus exposed their frauds and positions of power with God's Word (The Torah and the Prophets and the Poetry). Jesus broke the staff of power by freeing the people to worship God in Truth and Spirit; first the Jews, then the Gentiles. This is one of many aspects of the Messiah but is one you should come to understand clearly. ..........Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom they (the religious establishment) had crucified, both Lord and Christ. There is no other name under heaven as God has ordained all of mankind to know, accept, honor and follow...........peace........ ......

Very interesting. I have heard poor women also be called Jezebel either based upon their looks or their behaviors. Jezebel in the OT was not a loose woman, at least the Scriptures do not say so. And I don't believe they call her beautiful, either (although I may have forgotten that). ............I am interested to see your thoughts on it, and how it goes into Revelation.

Yep, Revelations will definitely be addressed since that book is central figure in all of this and is critically vital to understand this very day in response to Thyatira and it's offspring institutions that make up part of the body of the Church.
