Booking Policies at the Vollrath Tavern

To Get Booked:
Email Matt Christman at thevollrath@gmail.com for all booking inquiries. NO BOOKING will be done through any other outlet, including myspace and facebook.
Please include the date you are interested in and the name of the band in the subject line of your email - this helps tremendously with organization. Also include a link to your myspace page or another way to listen to the band. Sending press kits is not necessary - if you're going to spend your hard-earned money, pit it into promotional posters that we can use at the bar.
For out-of-town bands: if you're new to the area/venue, coordinating with a local band to bring a full bill will always get the most attention and higher priority - this is strongly encouraged as it demonstrates a strong promotional effort on your part. This isn't required - we will always do our part to book a night with the best possible line-up - but it does give you an advantage.
Once you are confirmed, we will promote the show online (facebook, myspace, twitter, etc...) - we highly recommend that you do the same! We encourage you to be a shameless self-promoter - the more people you get to the show, the more you make and the more exposure you get - in addition to higher priority for future bookings. Also, please befriend the Vollrath Tavern on facebook and myspace, and provide a flyer or poster for the bar to display at our entrance.
Compensation is based upon a percentage of the door, to be settled at the end of the night.
For all shows (unless otherwise noted): Load-in is at 7pm, Doors are at 8pm, Show Start is 9-9:30pm.
