Well, I am a little overwhelmed at the moment. I can't lie and say that I'm doing everything standing on my head. Working full time, taking 9 credit hours in school, etc. It's times like this when I wish I could pull out a bottle and have a couple. I'm a good girl now, though. If I wasn't funned out as it is, I just received an opportunity to do something wonderful. On a whim I submitted an idea I had to WFTV's I Am the One campaign. The campaign is to benefit disadvantaged youth in Orange county. I suggested a teen drop in center. There are shelters, but no drop in centers. I received a call from the station Wednesday, and they're awarding me $1000.00 to do what I can. If anyone knows me, they know I am the queen of pimpin' on a budget, and I'm making strides. Orange and Lake county's health dept. are donating a bunch of condoms. I just need to put a lot more together. If anyone has a suggestion, lemme know. I'm overwhelmed, but I feel very blessed.
