What a year it has been so far, up, down, all around, and generally going very fast.
I lost my RMK website for a bit while out of the country, but have managed to retrieve it, thanks to the help I got from name.net. Bless 'em. I may be able to type, but not that big on pie in the sky stuff, so thank God for small mercies...and prayers.
Even though I've been having a break from touring, I don't think my head can ever have a break from music, it definately keeps the blood flowing!
Been enjoying some great oldie artists of late, bands such as Bread and Supertramp, the music from around the time I was born is so great, it's so rich in melody, rhythm and space. The songs are classic and timeless, so cleanly produced and you can hear the soul in them, seeping through all the instruments in one big melting pot.
What has happened to the way we make music? I'm all for digital technology, but not so keen on it taking over the creativity!
I have also discovered many great myspace musicians, and it's amazing to think you can discover a new one every day on it, if you have the time. Shame my connection keeps cracking up, I get too impatient with sites that take 20 mins to load.. shame on me,
