It is hard to believe the summer is almost gone. I will have Matthew back in a few days, and so much to do before then.

The boys and I have canned wild blackberry jelly, made cherry jam, visited antique stores. We haven't been swimming at all. Schoolwork has fallen by the wayside of summer, but we have done more reading. The battles against the insect world continues- fleas and ants trying to take over the house.

We spent a lovely time in Ohio- complete with camping.

One thing I never accomplished was planning any type of shindig for the 25th anniversary. It is next Monday- August 3rd.

I did make a photo book for myself Tom. It hasn't arrived yet, but you can see it online.

Other than that, not one whit of celebration has been planned. *sigh*

*I* would like to think 25 years of marriage is a big deal.
