Let me take the time to point out that Sexual Offenders/ Predators DO NOT CHANGE.... My friends, how many times are incedents like this going to have to occur until our legislators, judges, juries, communities, and families of people who are not related to a victim see them for what they are? People like this are sick, mentally sick. Seems to me as though my family, friends and I are oh so familiar with a situation much like this. Who is to say that this young lady wouldn't have fallen to the same ill-fate as someone that all of us know? No names here. There should be no such thing as " Repeat Sexual Offenders". These predators rob people of their innocence, dignity, self esteem, happiness, and every other emotion known to humanity. It just so happens, that some of these " Repeat sexual offenders" have a deep, dark, deadly secret hiding in their closets, but some of them, like our own, get caught and are brought to justice. My point is that this young lady should NOT have had to endure such a horrific situation that she will have to live with for the rest of her days. No one should have to endure this, but as demonstrated here, people do... everyday. So why are these inhuman sexual offenders "repeating" their crimes? Because not enough people are standing up to them for the victims. Not enough people like to think about such a harsh realization that this is becoming more and more prevalent each and every day. My suggestion you ask? Write. Write to me, write to your legislators, write to your congress, write to your president, write in your blog, write to anyone who will listen. In the name of Andrea Regina Boyer, write. We are a Force for Change.
