I love Christmas in California. Some people may dream of snow covered vistas, building snowmen, making snow angels, I don't. Snow is pretty and fun when you want to play in it but not fun if you have to drive through it.
Christmas for me has always been more special when the Santa Ana winds are blowing. Waking up Christmas morning to the rushing sound of the wind through the trees outside my window, the dry leaves scraping along the ground. The slamming of the garage doors shaking the house.
Am I the only one who feels this way?
