THE LeeSelanas Project:
Robby Lee (Catherine) and Justin Salinas (Mychildren Mybride, Catherine, Scars of Tomorrow, Inked In Blood) are coming together to start a new band.
INFO:
Currently looking for a singer, bass player and most likely 2nd guitar player. candidates must have touring and recording experience, and be willing to relocate to Sacramento, Portland or Los Angeles for writing and recording. This is NOT a local band. please have a solid resume and send it to
With Catherine having such a large amount of band members over the last six years and Justin being in over 10 bands we work incredibly well with others but also and oblivious to most band dudes and their shitty intentions. Honestly we have gone pretty fare with music and have also crashed and burned a few times but will never stop going because we love doing it so much. Were looking for the perfect balance of chemistry, drive, talent/passion (Talent&Passion meaning: you pick up your instrument and play it because you love to not because you have to play a show that night) but most importantly VISION. We are looking for a 7 to life career with the project so we'll do what it take and wait as long as we need to find the perfect dudes to do this the right way. Also please note: We are good dudes and have no predaceous towards any one or religion but we are not at all looking to so a christian band. sorry guys
Style and Some Influences:
In a nut shell we're looking to create dark hard rock band. Music is music and we love all of it and what ever comes out is what comes out. Additional members will definitely impact the sound as well.

Singer-
Looking for a male version of HALEY for Paramour or female but that’s a shot in the dark. Someone that knows how to sing properly. Singing high is not as important as singing with power and emotion. The Singer really determines the future and life expectancy of a band. Basically carrying everyone’s career in their hands (not all bands but most timeless ones for sure) So they need to take really good care of themselves on and off tour. The best lyrics come from the heart and anything that comes from the heart is going to make the songs that much more impacting so of course your “THE ONE” you already know that and you already have plenty of previous experience to fill this possession.
Bass-
Commonly one of the most over looked possessions. We both have a huge appreciation for bass. It is just as important to us as any other instrument. We're all about having a solid rhythm section and we know the HUGE difference between a real bass player and a guitar player that switched over to bass just to be in a band. (even though Catherine Steve did that and he was solid :) ) ..again its all about appreciation for your instrument and music as a whole.
Guitar-
Robby Lee is a singer, songwriter and lead guitar player but not a close-minded one. We're all about relationships and making sure everyone is happy. It’d be a dream come true to fine a second guitar player that sings and is incredibly versatile with his playing capabilities. (Writing, Leads, solos, Playing solid live, Theory est.)
ALSO: We do have a small home studio to demo ideas and all that so if you as well or have access to you are a few states away or what not we can send ideas back and forth to each other.

At this point it is not paying, but once it gets off the ground you will be equally compensated for the work you put into it. Expect national and international touring in 2010 and be between the ages of 20-30
