Held Under has reformed with a new line up! We have been chosen to record a song for the Crimson Glory tribute CD entitled "The Revenge of Azreal" to be released on Metallic Archangel Records in Spring 2009. We're covering the song "Valhalla" from Crimson Glory's debut album. The tribute features many great metal acts from all over the world, giving their all to praise the mighty Crimson Glory.
We are also pleased to announce that our drummer Steve Oliver received a heart transplant last November and has been given the all clear to perform on drums again. Our new singer Ray Seemeyer has been a close friend of the band since the Discovery days - as a matter of fact he gave us the name Held Under! Joining us on bass is our old bandmate from Discovery Dave (Daiv) Patterson. We are excited to be active again, and we're already planning to finally record some old tunes we have lying around, plus write some new songs for some kind of upcoming release. Former vocalist Michael Stevens may still contribute lyrics to some of our future recordings. We'll keep you posted!
