The kids and I in my house are going to be hosting a talent show/freak show/film fest/music show/pot luck.
We're shooting for the 8th of September.
We are looking for jugglers, magicians, comics, play writes, dog fashion designers, etc. If this is you and you would like to join in on the festivities please let me know.
I'm looking to get an idea of how many talents and what sort of event this is going to be.
All talents are welcome however common sense restriction apply. (such as Gallagher acts must be performed outdoors etc. Just respect the fact that we live here and will have to live here after you go home, so try not to get us in trouble somehow) Acts may only be ten minutes for solo acts or 15 for more than one person acts(exceptions can be approved).
There will be prizes awarded. (such as for "strangest act", "best solo act", or something etc etc ---we don't know what exactly the categories are yet--)
Please Register talents with me.
1) All I need to know is what type of talent (need not be specific surprises are nice)
2) Who will be participating
3)Whether you need anything provided if so we'll do what we can to do so
4)anything else I might need to know or questions you might have
ALL MUSICAL ACTS are subject to these limitations...
1) 3 people max (exception can be approved)
2) Volume restrictions apply you can not be really loud (i.e.- "Silent House")
3) limited to 10 minutes solo or 15minutes for multi-parties
We should have a simple P.A. set up by then and already have a fair amount of musical equipment you may be able to borrow if you ask us nicely).
We are also looking for a video projector. If we could borrow one for the night that would be awesome.
More details will be announced later.
