Current mood:  okay
Okay, on Sunday, we (me, Dale, Andrew, Mel and Xan) went to Gravelly Point, which is situated in the flight path of many planes leaving Reagan National Airport. The planes are pretty close to the ground and loud. It was neat, although there weren't as many planes as I'd hoped.

We left after maybe an hour and drove to Theodore Roosevelt Island and walked around a bit.

My knee has been bothering me lately so I didn't walk much. It was nice to get out of the house for a while.

10 Underrated Movies

1. Pee Wee's Big Adventure - One of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Pee Wee searches for his stolen bike.

2. Pieces of April - I'd never heard of this movie until I happen to be flipping through channels and stopped on it. Katie Holmes is an estranged daughter who hosts Thanksgiving dinner for her family.

3. Office Space - I don't know if you'd call this underrated, but I saw it on a couple of underrated movie lists, so I guess it is. It's about office workers who hate their jobs.

4. The Savages - Another movie I just happened to stumble upon while channel surfing. Philip Seymour Hoffman, on of my favorite actors, and Laura Linney star as brother and sister who take care of their aging father.

5. High Fidelity - John Cusack as a record store owner who looks back over his failed relationships.

6. Mystic Pizza - It centers around three teenage girls who work in a pizza shop.

7. Falling in Love - Robert DeNiro and Meryl Streep fall in love while commuting to New York on a train. Unfortunately they're both married to other people.

8. Heartburn - Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson. Another love story. Very good.

9. What Dreams May Come - A story about coping with loss and the afterlife.

10. My Life Without Me - A woman deals with a cancer diagnosis.

I suggest you watch at least one of these movies and let me know what you think.

Bye!
