I woke up this morning with a horrible headache. That is not a good way to start the day, so I stumbled over to the dresser where my phone was charging, unhooked it and called in to work. Speaking softly so as not to irritate my pounding head, I said that I wasn't feeling well and would not be in to work today.

Now my headache is mostly gone, but I will take it easy today, in-between driving my children to and from there jobs.

Our hot water heater has a problem. Some part has failed and now the water grows cold. Very cold. In order for it to warm up, one (not me) has to reset that part and wait a couple of hours. Then the water is about the same temperature as lava. I need a shower, so I'm hoping that will happen at some point today. Dale ordered a new part and it should be here sometime this week.

It's supposed to be int he 80's this weekend. Too hot, in my opinion. The AC will be turned on regardless of what hubby says.

Sunday I'm having a family get-together. It was intended to be a wine and cheese party, but there will be other foods besides cheese. Probably some other types of alcohol also. I guess it should be called a food and drink party, but that doesn't sound as classy as wine and cheese. Whatever.
