Oh my gosh! well monday was the day that the fabulas series two of the beloved Green Wing was released on DVD. To my joy (as well as vicky (PR) Layles, Lottie, Jade, Dini (MBG), Jess and verity (sorry i can't spell - LR) we were all able to attend the signing of the dvd's at virgin megastore in oxford street. We met at victoria at half 4, I came with my Series 1 of green wing and brought series 2 there. I also came with festival for mangan to sign and the book group for michelle gomez to sign. Now michelle was NOT on the list of deifnates OR even the possibles but i thought well there is a chance so I brought it anyway :D
We arrived at virgin at about 5pm, we brought our GW dvd's wich to my joy came with a rather funkah surgical mask! yay we started queing up as soon as we were told where the line was! during this time we sang many GW related songs such as: tainted love, you really got me etc etc. also on the tube we were singing "you've got a ginger child" which probally anoyed a LOT of people but who cares???
When they came out we screamed like mad - clearly we were the most obessed there :) anyway, because of our load screaming stephen looked around and smiled at us - you can tell how excited we got about that? Lots of pictures were taken of well, everything.
When were were nearer the front Stephen Mangan noticed me and said in an excited way: "oooh someone's wearing a labcoat" which of course made me VERY happy that he noticed it :D
I was then saying to everyone I don't care they ARE signing all my dvd's AND my labcoat! and the photrographer heard and asked if she could get a picture of it getting signed - which rocked sooo much!
The first person at the tabe was the lovely Mark heap - he is soo lovely!
oh i'll go back to him in a sec - Karl Theobald was there BUT he had to leave very early meaning we didn't get to meet him :( but layles rush up to him saying: sign my yo yo signmy yo yo, and the security guard was trying to make her get back in the que but Karl was nice and was like - oh ok :) so she got that signed (lucky girl)
ok back to mark... I told him that i was in awe of the coat swishing thing (as I was wearing my labcoat) and he was just like "is that all?" and i just said no?? and didn't quite know what to say even though I had planned sooo many things before hand. Next was the greatest bit it was stephen mangan aghhhhh!!! oh he is soooooo hot! anyway, i gave him my letter saying that i wrote it for him as i didn't know what to say and he replied: "awwwwww you're sooooo sweet come here and give me a hug" which is when he stood up and gave me a hug :D oh gosh it was the best hug EVER!!!!!! aghh!! yeah after that i was in TOTAL shock and kinda just was like oh my god oh my god oh my god for the rest of the time, Oh yeah I told them all that the lab coat had a purpose and that i wanted to be a doctor and so pippa said: "oooh so are you in med school then" and i was like no :( i'm still in 6th form - and then she looked at me like i was a little strange but she was still very sweet, michelle gomez I got to sign my book group. Oh yeah and stephen signed my festival dvd on the wrong side - but it still works so all is good :) i think she was happy that i brought the book gorup with me - it made her feel special i think, anyway, she was quite quiet and i didn't know what to say anyway so umm yeah... Michelle asked pippa if she was in this with her (why i don't know?) and pippa was just like "no dear it was before we met" which was rather amusing, Jullian was rather quiet but very sweet, he took the picture of mwe and michelle in which she puts the biggest smile ever! but the thing is i don't remember that at ALL, when?? did michelle gomez put her arm around me? then I took a picture of pippa and JRT but by this time the security guards were getting me to move along so I didn't get a picture of me - with her :( but then Jullian took a picture of me and him which is why it looks like I'm hugging his arm - but gosh is he hot in real life too awwww!!!
then because of all the labcoat signing and stuff i got moved along as quick as possible
oh yeah once i had hugged setve after giving him the letter he was writing on my labcoat when pippa said to me: don't worry he will write back - on your back (lol) and michelle nodded in agreement and steve was like "honestly i will" which made me happy - also during the hug all i could hear was all my friends going WHAT!!! THAT'S SOO UNFAIR!!! hahahah!!
then when we left we shouted really loudly: "BYE STEVE!!" and someone told us that he heard yay :D
we then went downstairs to leave when layles asked for one of the posters wich had a picture of the GW dvd and it basically just said all the info about when and where the signing was etc, and I managed to blag the biggest one of all :D it's door size i love it :D
