He's an interesting singer from the Faroe Islands off the coast of Norway, to say the least. He's actually an artistic genius who can write a wistful, likeable folk melody as easily as he can write a bizzare dissonant fugue.... but perfectly balance it both in one song over top of eachother. He isn't some noisemaking hipster; He isn't even that hip. He didn't even sell half the capacity of the Great American Music Hall in SF (500 cap.) but he's hip. This might not make any sense, but if you go see him on this tour, you'll understand.
