Hey folks, I'm doing fine as usual and I thought I'd post and update as to things that contribute to my state of well being. So, with that being said here are:
Things I love Right Now (Jan 08' edition):
-Going into something with NO expectations what-so-ever. Why must we expect? I don't even know what to expect when I'm expecting what people said I'd expect, when the "expected" is actually happening. So...Don't expect folks. You'll only regret it. 99.9% of the time . when I look back, I realize that a lot of the things that went wrong in my life were because of an expectation somewhere in the mix. Tisk Tisk.
-Warm Apple Cobbler. Come over and I'll make you a WAC that'll give you a flavor boner for days.
-INCUBUS' Look Alive DVD. I can't ever say enough about one of my favorite bands of all time. They were the reason I started playing guitar. They were the reason I started singing. I owe so much to them. Definitely defined the word "Artist" in the most perfect way to me.
-My new music room. It's decorated with all the art and design I've come up with in previous travels and experiences. It is impossible to do anything but create in there. I love it. It's become a very fun and sacred place for my mind, body and soul.
-Chicken Pot Pies. So damn accessible at .55cents a pop. I love popping a couple in for a 5 a.m. treat. Mmm I don't care who you are, you're not going to get me out of THIS love affair. Not for now at least.
-TAZO tea (Passion and Refreshing) I may sound like a big tool for all these product endorsements but friends, I swear I would not be pushing there endorsement if I didn't truly and fervently enjoy them. TAZO's Passion is the perfect blend for that first impression of flavor for that crush you've finally convinced to come over and watch ENCINO MAN with. It takes your pallet for a ride then drops you off gently to start all over again. A lot like the last four seconds on the RAPTOR at Cedar Point. The TAZO Refreshing blend is amazing for a pre-shower beverage or perhaps stargazing behind the window in your living room. Go pick some TAZO up today! *Located at your nearest grocery store next to the ARIZONA and FOLDGERS.
-Polaroid Pictures. I've got hundreds and counting. They remind me that memories can be visual as well. I live a very sonic life and memories lay much more vivid through sound. But there's something about the little white frame around Polaroids that make it a complete indelible visual of times where my smile was at full force. I usually decorate one wall of my apartment with them. My collection is growing though so look out ceiling.
-Flip Video camcorders! Santa put one in my stocking this year and I've been enjoying it more than anything I've ever pulled out of a fuzzy over sized tube sock. It's so easy to use and so portable. I've recorded several hours of footage that will soon flood the youtube market. I'm glad some of you have as much time to do what you want to do as I do.
