Good Morning Everyone!
In terms of consumption and feeling satiated, I hope to deliver you a hearty breakfast blog that will get you through the day.
My mornings are always hit or miss. As often as I think I can be a morning person, there are always days that dip into the afternoon (snooze) delight category. Today is not one of those days. I beat the sun rays on my wall and watched as they caught up in illuminating fashion. McDreamy, (the coolest cat in the world) then proceeded to reiterate my comfort by creating a hammock out of my blanket at my feet. In the back of my mind I know that my alarm is still set but in hopes to keep this good morning going I think I'll watch it go off this time just so I can say "Beat ya and yes, i'm ok with it". It's always nice to be "ok with it". Don't you agree?
Today holds potential to be a very interesting day... Hour karaoke fest in the car to Grand Rapids to see some friends. Hour karaoke fest back to Kalamazoo. Perhaps a good photo session as nothing seduces my eyes like autumn skies. Guitaring on campus. Video talking with my dear friend in Bogota, Columbia. It should be a day full of interesting matter.
As an avid supporter of flavor and "wild card" cooking, I wish to share with you the interesting dishes that have graced my tongue as of late... Yesterday it was Grilled pineapple chicken pasta. MMMmm.com I can't possibly say enough about how amazing it was. It was a fun summer dinner served warm and would make an awesome appetizer cold. Asians love cold noodles. I am asian. I love cold noodles. High fiveee! There was also Broccoli mozzarella, THE WORLDS BIGGEST VEGGIE SANDWICH (I figure anything that is the world's biggest should be in caps...you'll know what I mean when you do something that deserves planetary recognition like my veggie sandwich)
I love robust flavor that solves global warming. Hopefully, if you are reading this we will someday go on a flavor adventure together. (If we haven't already) Let's just say the last one I was on ended with orange juice in shot glasses and a single ice cube. That was right before we all dug into the amazing "dirt" that Tiff made. As a side note, I will ALWAYS love "dirt". It's simple nostalgia to a time where my chocolate milk came with lunch lines, name tags and ninja turtle school supplies. Anyways, this is the conclusion of my "flavor" section. I hope you all eat/drink something delicious then proceed to post what it was so we all can try it. Thanks in advance. I love you.
In closing, there is only one thing that comes to mind. A "BOWer". Now if this term feels new to you or raises your hair on your arm like on mine when I hear it, I advise you to keep reading. I'm sure I'm not the first and I'm damn sure I won't be the last to have one. Because I'm a nice guy and am always insuring my friends have a MAX COOL day, (man that sounded super asian...I'm keeping it though jk just korean) I am going to include everything needed to get you into one today! All you need is:
1. A bath
2. A shower head
3. Warm to hot water (Or maybe you're a cold water freak, which is cool I don't judge)
4. Good music
5. Alcohol or flavorized liquid of your liking.
6. Pillow or "Head towel" for comfort.
Now there are several variations of the "BOWer". I only intend to get you started.
hey! hey! Turn the shower to your desired temperature. Lay down in the bath as you would with a bath. Adjust the head to desired area of precipitation. Put on some good music. (Ask me if you need some recommendations) Sip your beverage like you own your "BOWer". Tell your friends how great it was and post your pics to www.showmeyourbower.com. And that's a "BOWer"!
Shake hands, give hugs, kiss lips, do drugs.
I support everyone who reads my writing with "Pat-on-the-back" happiness and hope we all can get together real soon for a bitchin' "I know you through an asian" party. Cheers ears I'll be feeding you soon with songs so soup-y you'll be needin a spoon.
