Hi there, friend!
This is Joel from THE FATAL FLAW, dropping the false third-person tense these types of updates usually adopt to bring you some news from our little corner of the world.
We'll be playing a great show this week, opening up for iconic gay punk rockers PANSY DIVISION on Wednesday at TT the Bear's Place. Our friends in The Motion Sick will round out what promises to be an evening of pure fun and revelry.
WEDNESDAY, June 17th, 2009 @ TT the Bear's (10 Brookline Street, Cambridge, MA)
9 pm -- The Motion Sick 10 pm -- The Fatal Flaw 11 pm -- Pansy Division
This particular show may also very well prove to be a historic one, as it will be the first to feature the all-new line-up of The Fatal Flaw! The band has parted ways with co-founding guitarist Zack Wells and drummer Jason Seaver, but please join me and Matthew Goldman in welcoming to the fold drummer Albert Bigelow and guitarist/vocalist Glen Fant. If I do say so myself ... which, for obvious reasons, I'm forced to ... the current version of the band is sounding fantastic, and I can't wait for you to hear the proof with your own ears. Yay!
Now, some of you may be asking, "Joel, why would half the band leave at the same time? You must be a real jerk or something!" to which I'd probably reply, "Screw you, you rhetorical-question asking motherfucker! I'm a fucking AWESOME bandmate, so just shut up and do as I say!" Seriously, though, the simple explanation is that Zack and Jason wanted to play metal and so they started a metal band, which you can hear at Myspace.com/whitewife if you're interested.
Thanks, and see you soon!
Yours, Joel Reader The Fatal Flaw
