Buyers From HOT TOPIC AND SPENCER GIFTS Do'NT CARE FOR THE MISFITS OR RAMONES >>>THATS WHY YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY THESE SETS AT THESE STORES

What's that you say? Yes, THEY DO SELL T-SHIRTS OF THESE BANDS BUT, THATS CAUSE IT'S A DIFFERENT BUYER AND DEPARTMENT

BOTH BUYERS ARE QUOTED AS SAYING. NO BODY CARES ABOUT THESE BANDS ANY MORE...IF YOU MADE TEDDIES OF NEWER BANDS WE WOULD BE INTERESTED

THATS LIFE 2 PEOPLE JUST RUINED IT FOR EVERYBODY

FUCK'EM!!!!!

That's really fucking lame. I know tons of people that would buy those sets. One thing these two stores need to realize is that the real punk bands NEVER die out. If they think no one cares about these bands, they shouldn't sell the shirts, wallets, belts, etc., all the merchandise that makes them the big bucks. Cuz I know they make a lot of money of of the Misfits stuff alone. It's bullshit.

only 12 year old emo kids shop at snott topic anyway.

if they had any brains they would realise that the ramones and the misfits are some of the highest earning punk bands around.

nobody cares? tell that to the promoters of theyre sold out shows.

Kids today think Green Day and My Chemical Romance are the shit....that they are PUNK. Bwhahahaha! We all know the originators....Hot Topic and Spencer's fucking SUCK ass! I listened to the Misfits and Ramones since I could crawl and I am 31 years old. My kids know who the Misfits are...because they were raised on em.

Enough with my ranting.

These buyers go and buy merch from what they think kids ( and adults) listen to and go from there. We need a place where we can buy *real* band merch...instead of the crappy emo-trash that gets bought at HT and Spencer's.

I know Fall Outta the Closet Boy bears and My Gynelogical Romance bears wouldn't sell because they don't have the legendary staying power of the Ramones or the Misfits. Let's see where the (tiny penis)Pete Wentz's and Gerard curdsnWay kids will be in 30 years...Well, probably vaporized from nuclear fallout BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT DAMMIT!!!

Made in the USA...with foreign parts...

Um....walk into a spencers....they do sell misfits and ramones stuff. spencers has a pretty bad ass ramones shirt that no one else carries...

Spencers also doesn't really focus on the 5% of people that follow punk....those bands usually want too much money to sell their stuff....don't whine about it...it's the bands fault if stores don't carry their merch..

Hollywood...You obviously have no idea about licensing. Sometimes a certain band or a certain vendor will want to make more on items that they feel are hot or higher quality. A lot of times places won't carry an item because (as anarchy seems to think) it will make it way too overpriced. (18 bucks for a band tee isn't bad when you have to pay 35 at a show...) Just because a store sells one item, it doesn't give them the rights to sell other items automatically.

And yeah...the band IS selling the shirt, or at least the rights to it. Some bands only approve new shirts once or twice a year (Metallica, Misfits, Pantera, etc) so sometimes a store doesn't see a new style it likes and will pass on the older style because it has become a slow seller.....People need to get over the whole "who started it" and the "poser store" crap. I'm sure the online store you order from carries all the same crap HT does....

To the author of the blog...
In 2006, Spencers didn't have a vision for underwear sets or lingerie. They were just discovering rock tees and underwear was unheard of unless it was a gag gift. Go into the stores now and look around. I'd bet that if you took a sample back to them they'd jump on it since there are a lot of new people doing the buying. (and they have a growing section for this product.....just saying)
