HELL is LA's monthly goth-industrial fetish event. We began our residency at the Ivar in January 2007 and have continued to blow your minds nearly every 4th Wednesday of the month since. Originally slated as a one-night special event at the Ivar in June of 2006, we added 3 more nights throughout the rest of that year due to increasing interest for our sick offering of 7 deadly sins. Before its move to the Ivar, HELL cultivated its musical style and artistic edge in a tiny Chinese restaurant at the corner of Wilcox and Hollywood Blvd. However, it was Club 7969 where LA was first seduced by HELL. Scattered across two random Wednesdays and Saturdays, HELL began as a collaborative effort between clubs Industry (LA), Maschine (OC), and Empire (IE), brought together by a pair of agitators calling themselves Kontrolled Chaos, Inc, one of whom may have even slipped you a flyer one dreary night and whispered "go to HELL" in your direction. Prior to HELL, these two promoters channeled their devious energies through club Industry, experimenting with different formats and venues beginning with the Hollywood Athletic Club Pool on March 6, 2003. Before that, they were a couple of misfits just like you, hanging out at LA's local stomping grounds, except they got a little too subversive for the status quo and were forced to start their own place to go. Now you know the history of HELL. What does the future hold? You'll just have to drop by and find out what we have in store for you . . .
