Teen Pregnancy - Who Is REALLY To Blame?
Well, the PARENTS of course! But there maybe allot more to it...
Awhile back I read a story about a study of teen pregnancies and what may be the factors that lead to them.
Of course, I lost the magazine I read it in, so I decided to do my own very un-scientific survey on what I read!
It said that what may be the number one factor with the age someone has kids is the age of THE PARENTS WHEN THEY STARTED HAVING KIDS.
Meaning, parents who started having children BEFORE the age of 20, have children that are likely to have their first child before the age of 20.
My mom and dad had their first child before the age of 20 and both my older brother and I had our first child before the age of 20. (Not together you sickos!)
And I was the same age as my mother when she had her second child when I had my second child.
The whole thing is very neat and kinda creepy!
So I wanted to ask everyone how old were they when they started having kids compared to how old their parents were.
Let's see if it really is a pattern.
